Sermon focused on Matthew 3:11, where John the Baptist says, “I baptise you with water for repentance, but he who comes after me is mightier than I. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
Baptism with water. Baptism with the Holy Spirit. Baptism with fire. What did it all mean for John and for Jesus and for Matthew when he wrote his gospel? What does it all mean for us today? And what should we do about it?
